Modern, attractive, healing

Architecture made for people

St. Mauritius Therapieklinik opened in November 2000. The ample grounds made it possible to develop clinic architecture that deviates from the usual clinic layout, offering a new kind of humane and attractive clinic architecture.

The wards are no longer situated in long corridors like in many older hospitals.

Instead patient rooms are grouped in quadrangles around large central spaces.

The layout is modelled on a central market square, offering space for practical therapy in immediate proximity to the ward.

The attractively designed ambiance in the wards and therapy areas is adapted individually to the differing needs of various age groups.

All patient rooms are double rooms equipped with bathrooms suitable for the handicapped. Some areas also include single rooms where an accompanying person can also be lodged.

All rooms have cable TV and a telephone. For a small fee some rooms can be equipped with an internet connection for the patient’s PC (via W-LAN).
