Modern methods to increase motor performance
Re-acquisition or compensation of skills
The hospital’s motor skills department brings together experts from many different therapy fields – physical therapists, ergotherapists, sports teachers, masseurs and balneotherapists. We all aim to maintain the patients’ motor skills – such as walking or grasping – or to help them reacquire lost skills or develop compensation strategies for lost skills.
Individual therapy plans based on scientifically validated knowledge
The members of our motor skills team consider the patient an active partner in the rehabilitation process; that means they set goals together with the patient and always focus on his or her individual needs. The clinical diagnosis, the results of standardised senso-motor functions and performance tests and observation of the patient’s motor skills form the basis on which physicians and therapists develop a personalized therapy plan.
